I’ve been working on cleaning my garage today and was searching for some music to listen to which would both keep my energy high while being conducive to a “no-mind” state. Found my CDs for “Greyfolded.” This is a mashup of over 100 live versions of “Dark Star” featuring every single musician who has ever been a member of the Grateful Dead. It’s quite amazing if you have never heard it before. It was encouraged by Phil.
I believe it’s out of print but you can download it…and if you’re a DeadHead, this is really worth checking out.

Jerry Garcia would be 69 today. It would have to be a much longer blog post than I am willing to write to describe how much he and his music have meant to me.
But here’s a short lesson – even the wisest; the smartest; the kindest; and the most talented and inspiring who can ever walk among us – still bear the burden of blind spots regarding their own lives.
As do the rest of us.
Forgive; and be Grateful.

I decided to go ahead and get started blogging with some music-related stuff.
As a musician, I want to share some ideas, resources, and other information with you. I am interested in topics like improving playing and singing; good sources for gear of all kinds; turning everyone on to my faves and discoveries; and links to audio or videos that I think you will enjoy. More to come, as well.
I have installed a search page which will allow you to find downloadable stuff from any artist – there’s a section with news stories about the artist and links to various sources for merch like posters, t-shirts etc. Hope you find it useful.
